maybe you are right, but for me is just bloatware.

In microservices you need good tracing like zipkin, for the rest the cloud takes care of everything.

in cases o companies that can afford, datadog is a great product SaaS, and in case of services written in go, rust, js you get everything out of the box with dd-agent.

the same level of logging and tracing GCP is offering almost for free ( i depends of quantity and logs+tracing size ).
